5 Golden Rules for a Stress-Free March
1. Stay ahead. Don’t wait for the last day! Due to the holidays (March 20-24), the final week will be very short. It’s best to submit your annual return in the middle of the month when the systems are faster.
2. Use reminders. Add all these dates to your Google Calendar.
3. Prepare for Coretax load. During peak days before deadlines, the Coretax system and old DJP services might run slower or experience glitches. Factor this into your time.
4. Keep your documents ready. Make sure you have all the data needed for calculating PPh 21, PPh 25, and most importantly, for filling out the annual return (data on income, assets, tax deductions).
5. Save your confirmations. After submitting any report, always save the electronic receipt (BPE — Bukti Penerimaan Elektronik). This is your insurance in case of future tax disputes.
